This seminar examines current images in the popular press of adolescents in crisis and explores recent research on the transitions and challenges faced by today's youth. Participants read coming of age literature and discuss how these texts can be used to engage students in English and Language Arts classrooms. During our time together, we will examine modern and contemporary portrayals of adolescents and explore several bridge literature texts which these millennial children enjoy reading in their private lives.
Afterward, it is my hope that you will continue adding resources to this wiki to share with your colleagues in your district and in your network.
